I'm Back

We spent the new years' weekend with my family. Everyone made it home for the weekend.

There was Mom and Dad, the sisters, the brothers-in-law who have nothing in common except the fact that they are married to sisters, and grandchildren, mostly teenagers.

I enjoy the interactions and some of the eccentricities that happen when family gets together. For the most part there is a camraderie and acceptance of everyone's different lifestyles.

The brothers-in-law get teased quite a bit. You don't want to make a mistake in this group. I was made fun of for saying wifi (wiffy). You guys should have told me how to pronounce it.

We drove home in rain at 30 degrees. Fortunately it was only freezing to the road in a few areas.

It's good to be home, holidays are over, and I'm trying to get back in the groove. I didn't make any resolutions this year, which is unusual for me. I guess I'm just not the driven perfectionist I used to be.

I hope to have some coherent thoughts soon.

Meh, resolutions are over-rated anyway. ;-)

so glad you made it home safely. whew. i'm so glad the holidays are over and we are getting back to our previously televised schedules. i love christmas, but it does wipe me out. yesterday we took all the decorations down and rearranged the living room furniture. in one afternoon.

my resolution this year?

watch less tv

And read your blog more. I need to increase my dedication to your blog. Please forgive me for backsliding and being seduced by other things like rearranging furniture. I have seen the error of my ways.

Wiffy. That's great. I'm glad you are all home safe. Family time can be a great time, but only for so long. I pray you have a very happy and blessed year. Hope to read all about it.

Thanks for the welcome back.

Pam, I'm glad the holidays are over too and look forward to seeing you around here.

Regina, I hope to get to the meme by Friday, OK.

Cindy, my hubby isn't a geek filter. It's everything I can do to keep him from beating up my mouse.

Bruce, I suppose I'll have to practice saying why-fy. I've been mentally mispronouncing it for quite awhile.
