Loved the poster... The Message: "In Christ's family there can be no division into Jew and non-Jew, slave and free, male and female. Among us you are all equal. That is, we are all in a common relationship with Jesus Christ..." Isn't that just marvelous? JulieT
Now WAIT A MINITE. How about those of us men who do believe women share equal standing in God's Kingdom.
A fantastic poster. LOL.
You know this is something I've bee thinking about a lot lately.
A typical slogan goes something like how we are to focus our attention on spirituality (build your treasure in heaven, not here, etc.). I am in agreement with that.
So why are these people so obsessed with gender? Isn't that a temporal part of our identity which will go away when we all become the bride of Christ?
"We sense that something magnificent is afoot. We are intrigued by the chaos. We are willing to risk significant change in order to create local expressions of the kingdom of God that are burning with missional passion and practice. We want to explore the meaning of the chaos, the vision of a preferred future, the challenge of being "church."

Hey everyone,
Thanks for you comments. That was just a little something I needed to get off my chest.
For some reason, "the Seattle pastor who shall not be named" immediately comes to mind.
Gary,
Yes, "he who shall remain nameless." ;)

Eternity, people! Eternity!
David,
The people that honestly believe that way will probably be surprised to learn that they aren't superior for eternity.
grace, what you say reminds of what Jesus declared: The first shall be last and the last first.
We will be shocked.
I'm sorry - were you talking to me? I wasn't listening ...
