Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, I've been unable to keep up with the latest discussion regarding Mark Driscoll. I think for now, I'll simply keep quiet and await the humble apology one would expect from a Christian leader in this situation.
We've been busy trying to finish the kitchen. The other night, I was working with my main squeeze, the plumber. (He's not really a plumber, he only plays one under the sink.)
Plumberman: Would you get me a pliers?
Grace: Sure honey. Do you want a philips or a flathead?
Duh!

Now what can I do to get 83 comments to a post? :)
LOL ... just try using gauge when you should say caliber in reference to a gun sometime! I got two separate lectures on that (from two brothers) all in fun, tho ... and just the other day, no less.
Grace- I miss you! I'll be glad when you're kitchen is finished.
We have a slight plumbing problem under our kitchen sink rignt now that recently prompted a dinnertime discussion of how your famiy is managing without a kitchen when you homeschool your kids and your husband works from home. Do you know that keith is working from home now too?
Anyway- we're feeling for you down here.
Grace,
Welcome back to blogging! We missed you.
David,
If I were smarter, I would have done something to take advantage of all the traffic. I wonder what happened to my 70 new friends? :)
abhantiarna,
I'm clueless about calibers and gauges too.
cindy,
I remember reading that about Keith. I hope it's going well. We've been self-employed for over 25 years, and it has been good. Based on what you said about Keith's abilities, it should go well once you get things established.
BTW, the leak is fixed, and we ate our first meal in the new kitchen last night. No appliances yet though. :(
Thanks robby, I'm always wishing I had more time to just to hang out.
