Nothing New

In reading about emerging church, I am finding that others have already thought and said the things that I am just now realizing and discovering. I enjoy learning from those who have already blazed the trail. I also enjoy venturing off the well-worn paths and finding other voices who are in the process of discovery and exploration.

Where are you reading about emerging church? I see some links to a blog called planet emergent, but are there others?

I hate church marketing speak.

Is this book for real? It's like an oxymoron to me to see a book like this on the ECM.
LOL!!!!!!!

Next thing you know there will be a "Start Your Own Emerging Church" Kit for only $39,95 plus s/h that will include candles, Christian chant music, and temporary tattoos.

Only in America......:-)

BTW, thanks for linking me. I added you to my links, too.

David,
Most of my reading has been through blogs and articles linked in blogs. Lots of chasing rabbit trails of things that interest me.

Pam,
I think it's a joke. I found it funny because I had just referred to emerging for dummies a few posts ago.

You had great responses to your interview. Way to dazzle em!

I actually made the graphic in photoshop last year as a joke on my blog (www.brianorme.com)--it's funny that it's still popping up.
Peace
Brian

My apologies Brian.

I copied it off of google images and should have tracked back to the source for credit.

I hope you will forgive me.

To all who enjoy this, please give your appreciation to Brian.

Sincerely,
Grace
